Sanaag Aroma Organization is a non-governmental organization (NGO), non profit making registered in the Ministry of National Planning and Development, Somaliland,
The organization is formed to serve Indigenous Frankincense Cooperative consisting of 200 Xijjis (Wild Farms) and is an active in humanitarian aspects, capacity building and developing local frankincense producers, We are affiliated to Sanaag Aroma Company that is committed to provide required services, education and development to the cooperative members which can make us a useful proxy for the concerns of the society and stakeholders.
We are a leading cooperative that specializes in harvesting, processing and exporting frankincense and myrrh, We deliver 100% pure organic product that improves your fitness, mind and spirit.
Our cooperative is located in Almadow and Almiski with over 300 years’ local experience in the
natural sector. Consequently, we are bestowed to handle over 80% of Myrrh and Frankincense
productions in Somaliland, This venture not only offers supply solutions but can help bring our
business and visions into the modern business world, With trust we built reliability from all
harvesters.
Our organization harvests, packages and exports following products with a maximum quality, safety and storage standards:
- Boswellia Carteri (Beeyo)
- Boswellia Frereana (Maydi)
- Myrrh (Dhidin)
To take our business to the next level, our short plan includes procuring, through Sanaag Aroma Company, processing equipment including a vibrating screen to sort stock and a hammer mill to grind resins based on buyer demands.
The system will be installed in a new first-of-its-kind in EilDahir town within the neighbourhood of the wild farms.
